Strategic Opportunities for Financing and Impact

Brazil has proposed the creation of a US$125 billion Global Fund (TFFF) aimed at preserving tropical forests. The proposal aims to break with the logic of one-off donations, establishing a more structured, scalable funding model with transparent governance.

The final regulation of the carbon market will allow countries to finance mitigation actions in other nations, generating traceable projects with social co-benefits.

Brazilian companies should highlight sustainable business models, reinforcing the value of the Amazon bioeconomy and traceability, as well as the advancement of renewable energies and electrification. COP30 will be a showcase for solutions that reconcile profit with conservation, unique health and green jobs.

COP30 intends to incorporate a territorialized and decentralized vision, with the Amazon as the geopolitical center of the debate, and with strong participation from local communities, indigenous people and young people. This approach strengthens projects with social legitimacy and lasting impact.
